NEWBURGH — A local resident or visitor to Newburgh might just be the newest millionaire, thanks to a second-prize-winning Powerball ticket sold at Smokes 4 Less. Located at 59 North Plank Road, the store sold the lucky ticket worth $1,000,000 for the Powerball drawing on March 25.

Powerball, known for its life-changing jackpots, draws its winning numbers from a set of 1 to 69, with the red Power Ball coming from a separate pool of 1 to 26. Drawings for the Powerball take place three times a week, every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m., offering multiple chances to win big.
