Toms River Announces Garbage Collection Schedule Adjustments for Good Friday

TOMS RIVER, NJ – In observance of Good Friday, Toms River Township has announced changes to the operational schedule of the Department of Public Works and the Recycling Convenience Center.

Both facilities will be closed on Good Friday, which falls on March 29. As a result, sanitation collections scheduled for Friday will be postponed to Saturday, March 30. Additionally, any requests for extra garbage and recycling collection that would normally occur on Friday are rescheduled to Thursday, March 28.

The township encourages residents to plan accordingly to accommodate these schedule changes.
