HAMILTON, NJ – The New Jersey State Police have apprehended Michael Larbi, 25, and a 16-year-old male, both residents of Dover, Delaware, in connection with a robbery in Smyrna, Delaware. The arrests were made following the suspects’ flight from a traffic stop in Delaware and subsequent entry into New Jersey on Thursday at approximately 4:30 PM.

Investigations led to the identification and location of Larbi and the juvenile at the Woodrow Wilson Service Area on the New Jersey Turnpike in Hamilton Township, Mercer County. Larbi attempted to evade arrest on foot but was quickly apprehended alongside the juvenile without further incident.

Michael Larbi faces multiple charges, including receiving stolen property, unlawful possession of a weapon, and resisting arrest, and is currently detained at the Mercer County Jail pending extradition. The juvenile has been charged similarly and was initially held at the Ocean County Jail before being transferred to the custody of the Delaware State Police.
