Construction Company Employee Arrested for $100k Theft in Stafford Township

STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ — The local police department announced the arrest of a 50-year-old Forked River woman in connection with a significant theft from a construction company. The arrest followed an investigation into over $100,000 reportedly missing from the business account of Macko Construction.

The Stafford Township Police Department was alerted to the theft on February 27, leading to a detailed investigation by their Detective Bureau. This investigation culminated in the arrest of Dawn Sanzari on March 25, who was then processed at the Stafford Police Headquarters.

Sanzari faces charges including 2nd Degree Theft by Deception and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. After being charged, she was released with a summons to appear in court at a later date. The police department’s swift action highlights their commitment to combating financial crimes within the community.
