Police Search for Fugitive Wanted for Armed Robbery of Maryland 7-Eleven

SILVER SPRING, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division is actively investigating the armed robbery of a 7-Eleven store. The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday in the 11400 block of Georgia Ave.

The initial investigation disclosed that two individuals forcibly entered the store around 12:08 AM. The first suspect brandished a handgun at an employee and demanded money from the cash registers, while the second suspect waited by the side door. Upon the registers being opened, the first suspect took a cash drawer containing an undisclosed sum of money and handed it to the second suspect, before taking a second drawer. Both suspects then fled the scene.

Authorities have disseminated surveillance photos of the two suspects and are requesting the public’s aid in identifying them. The first suspect is a Black male in his early twenties, standing around 5’6″, with a thicker build. He was dressed entirely in black, including gloves and a ski mask, and was also wearing sunglasses and gray New Balance shoes, armed with a handgun. The second suspect, also a Black male in his early twenties and about 5’10” with a heavier build, wore a black Nike sweatshirt, Nike sweatpants, black Nike shoes, and a blue surgical mask.
