On the afternoon of March 25, at around 2:21 p.m., police were alerted to gunfire in the 2800 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast. Upon arrival, officers discovered signs of the shooting. Video and photo evidence capturing the suspects and their vehicle have been released.

MPD emphasizes the importance of utilizing Safe Exchange Zones for transactions initiated on online market platforms, highlighting these locations as preventative measures against pre-arranged robberies. Safe Exchange Zones are available at every district station and the Special Operations Division’s Harbor Patrol, offering a secure environment for the exchange of goods and money.

The police are urging anyone with information about the suspects to contact them at (202) 727-9099 or through the TEXT TIP LINE at 50411, advising against direct confrontation.
