Online Powerball Ticket Wins $1 Million for Pennsylvania Player

MIDDLETOWN, PA – In a recent stroke of luck, a Powerball® ticket purchased online has brought a $1 million prize to a fortunate player in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. This win comes ahead of the Powerball’s next drawing, with an estimated jackpot of $935 million.

The winning ticket matched all five white balls—37, 46, 57, 60, 66—in the drawing held on Wednesday, March 27, though it missed the red Powerball® 8. The prize is subject to applicable withholdings.

The winner’s identity remains a mystery until the prize is claimed and the ticket validated. Pennsylvania Lottery reminds Powerball® winners to sign their tickets if purchased at a retailer, while online players will see their winnings automatically credited to their accounts. Winners have a year from the draw date to claim their prizes.

The drawing also saw over 117,600 other Powerball® tickets in Pennsylvania win prizes of various amounts. This includes over 20,800 tickets bought with the Power Play® option and over 9,500 with Double Play®. The Pennsylvania Lottery advises all players to check their tickets carefully.
