Police Seek Public Help to Identify Church Burglary and Vandalism Suspects

Montgomery County, MD — The Montgomery County Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects involved in the burglary and vandalism of Wheaton Community Church. The incident, which took place overnight before March 12, 2024, has led to the release of surveillance photos of the suspects by detectives from the 4th District Investigative Section.

Officers were called to the scene on the 3200 block of Paul Dr. at approximately 3:19 p.m. following a report of the burglary. The initial investigation revealed that the suspects had entered the church, causing vandalism with a fire extinguisher among other damages.

The Montgomery County Police Department urges anyone with information about the suspects or the incident to come forward. Information can be shared through the Crime Solvers of Montgomery County website or by calling the provided number. Tips leading to an arrest may qualify for a reward ranging from $250 to $10,000 and can be submitted anonymously.
