The Rockville City Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred on April 10, at around 10:55 p.m. in the 300 block of N. Washington St. Upon their arrival, RCPD officers found an adult male victim with a gunshot wound. Fortunately, the injuries sustained were determined to be non-life-threatening, and the victim was treated at the scene by Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel before being released.
The suspect, who has evaded capture, is described as an African American male with a dark beard, last seen wearing a gray shirt and light-colored pants, fleeing the area on foot. While there is no ongoing threat to the community, the Rockville City Police Department is actively seeking any information related to this incident.
