**Arrest Made in Illegal Marijuana Selling Case**
Frelinghuysen Township, NJ – A 46-year-old man from Rockland County, was arrested for illegal marijuana sales out of a big purple van in New Jersey. William Schlette, founder of Bud Bus Inc., faces charges of deceptive business practices, money laundering, and drug offenses, according to Warren County Prosecutor Anthony Picone.
Picione highlighted that Schlette had falsely advertised his Bud Bus as a “100% legal” business on the company’s Facebook page. The Bud Bus seems to operate from five permanent locations, including two in Hewitt, two in Newfoundland, and one in West Milford, NJ, according to police.
Warren County authorities carried out two search warrants on Schlette’s Bud Bus Inc. van parked at 1077 State Highway 94 in Frelinghuysen Township on Monday.
The search led to the seizure of $1,900, a Ram Promaster van, a 2024 Loom trailer, as well as suspected raw marijuana and cannabinoid-infused products.
