It Was Just A Joke: Firebug Student Caught Burning Toilet Paper in High School Bathroom

STAFFORD, MD—An arson incident occurred at North Stafford High School on Garrisonville Road this Wednesday at 11:37 AM. Deputy R.L. Allen, who was performing his duties as a School Resource Officer (SRO), was alerted to the situation.

The investigation revealed that a student had set fire to paper towels, claiming it was intended as a joke. The incident, however, was taken seriously by authorities, resulting in a criminal complaint being filed against the student for burning personal property.

  • New Jersey Trucker Unharmed After Vehicle Runs Red Light in Fatal Maryland Crash

    CROFTON, MD — Early this morning, Western District officers were dispatched to a fatal motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Crain Highway and Johns Hopkins Road. The incident occurred at approximately 12:31 AM.

    Preliminary investigations show that a 2017 Freightliner 114SD was heading north on Crain Highway with a green light when a 2020 Honda Insight traveling west on Johns Hopkins Road ran a red light and entered the intersection. The Freightliner struck the Honda on the driver’s side, resulting in severe consequences. The driver of the Freightliner was unharmed. However, the Honda’s front seat passenger sustained serious injuries and was transported to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Tragically, the driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene by Anne Arundel County Fire Department officials.

    The Traffic Safety Section is conducting a thorough investigation into the crash.

    Police identified the deceased victim as Jack Michael Brown, 20, of Crofton. A passenger, Kieran John Jackson, 21, of Crofton was critically injured.

    The driver of the Freightliner, Samuel Jeremiah, 37, of Blackwood, New Jersey was unharmed.

  • Deadly Shooting Overnight at South Jersey Social Club

    WILLINGBORO, NJ — The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office and the Willingboro Township Police Department are currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred yesterday outside a social club on John F. Kennedy Way in Willingboro. The incident happened at approximately 9:15 PM.

    The victim, an adult male, succumbed to his injuries last night at Virtua Willingboro Hospital. Further information regarding the case is expected to be released later today.

    Police did not release the name of the victim. No suspects have been identified. No arrests have been announced.

  • Woman Missing Over Month After Vehicle Found Abandoned in New Jersey State Forest

    VINCENTOWN, NJ — The New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit, along with the Human Trafficking Unit, are requesting public assistance in locating the missing woman, Danielle Lopez. Lopez was last seen on Saturday, April 13th, around 9:11 a.m. at the Wawa on Route 72 in Vincentown, NJ.

    Danielle is frequently seen around Brendan T. Byrne State Forest, Pemberton Township, and Willingboro Township. Her car, a 2008 blue Hyundai Accent, was recently found disabled on Lost Lane Road in Penn State Forest, Woodland Township.

    BUFFALO, NY — The Buffalo Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in finding 37-year-old Hilary Hudson, who is currently missing. Hudson, a white female with a light complexion, is approximately 5'5" tall, weighs about 120 pounds, and has strawberry blonde hair, although she occasionally dyes it black. She has hazel eyes and does not have a permanent address.

    Anyone with information on Hilary Hudson's whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.
