Fugitive wanted for Virginia Beach Shooting Captured in Norfolk

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Virginia Beach Police Department officers responded to a report of shots fired at the 2600 block of Mulberry Loop on Tuesday morning.

Following an investigation by the VPBD detectives, with assistance from the Norfolk Police Department, Kaevon Hinnant, a 25-year-old individual from Norfolk, was identified as the suspect and has been charged with two counts of Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling. The arrest was made at 8:26 a.m.
