Philadelphia Police Seek Suspect in Germantown Avenue Commercial Burglary

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Detective Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a commercial burglary. The incident occurred early on May 14, 2024, at a construction site located at 5605 Germantown Avenue.

Caught on camera at approximately 5:56 AM, an unknown white male forcibly entered the site and stole a significant amount of copper wiring. The footage shows the suspect wearing a distinctive outfit as he navigates the area and commits the burglary.

The suspect is described as a white male, dressed in a blue jacket with tan sleeves, a black hooded sweatshirt, a blue t-shirt, gray sweatpants with “Nope” written in white, black sneakers, and black work gloves. He was last seen fleeing west on Germantown Avenue.
