The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office announced a significant operation conducted just before noon on Wednesday, resulting in the apprehension of a juvenile wanted for homicide. The arrest was part of a collaborative effort with a neighboring jurisdiction.

Deputies performed a high-risk vehicle stop on Onville Road, where the suspect was detained.

Concurrently, a search warrant was executed at a residence in Garrison Woods, where the juvenile had been staying.

During the detention process, a firearm was discovered in the suspect’s possession.

The juvenile is now held at a Juvenile Detention Center facing the original homicide charge, with additional criminal complaints expected to be filed by Stafford authorities shortly.

Sheriff David “DP” Decatur praised the seamless cooperation and efficiency of all parties involved in the operation, highlighting the safe and successful outcome of detaining two wanted homicide suspects in a single day without any incidents.
