STAFFORD COUNTY, VA – An assault in the early hours of Monday led to the identification and pursuit of a suspect in Stafford County.
The incident was reported at Susan Street around 12:04 a.m., when a man was assaulted while leaving his girlfriend’s residence.
Deputy T.G. Croson responded to the scene where the victim explained that he was attacked by an unknown male. Investigation revealed that the assailant was the ex-boyfriend of the victim’s girlfriend. Authorities have since obtained a warrant for the suspect on charges of assault and battery. The case is ongoing as law enforcement seeks to apprehend the accused.
