Washington, D.C. – The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in locating a suspect involved in multiple package thefts in the Sixth District.
The thefts occurred as follows:
- On February 27, in the 100 block of 36th Street, Northeast.
- On June 1, in the 100 block of 36th Street, Northeast.
- On June 11, in the 3900 block of Ames Street, Northeast.
- On June 11, in the 300 block of Anacostia Avenue, Southeast.
The suspect was captured on surveillance cameras, and images are available.
Anyone who can identify the suspect or has knowledge of these incidents is urged to call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text a tip to 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
