Belle Mead Man Arrested for Multi-Year Embezzlement Scheme

BELLE MEAD, NJ – Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of SANG PARK, a 44-year-old resident of Belle Mead, NJ, on charges related to a complex theft by deception case. This arrest was the culmination of a detailed investigation led by Chief Matthew Finck of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

The inquiry began when the Ridgefield Park Police Department reported suspicions of employee embezzlement at a local business to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Financial Crimes Unit in December 2023. A thorough investigation ensued, unearthing evidence that PARK had been manipulating his payroll and employee reimbursement systems between 2018 and 2022, siphoning over $1.2 million from company accounts.
