Bronx Prosecutor Resigns After Being Caught Soliciting Young Boy Online for Sex

Bronx, NY – Assistant District Attorney William C.C. Kemp-Neal, 30, has resigned from the Bronx District Attorney’s office following allegations that he attempted to meet a 13-year-old boy for sex. Kemp-Neal’s resignation came four days after the group Dads Against Predators posted a video of him in a Target parking lot in Mount Vernon.

“William Kemp-Neal worked here as an ADA from June 28, 2020, until July 17, 2024. He resigned from the office,” stated DA Darcel Clark’s office. Kemp-Neal, who earned $84,990 annually, handled cases involving assault, harassment, and child endangerment.

Although no arrests have been made and Kemp-Neal has not been charged with any crime, police have stated that officers “encountered several individuals making allegations of wrongdoing” and have promised a “comprehensive investigation.”

Neal resigned from his position after being caught on video allegedly attempting to meet a young boy he communicated with online. The video, produced by the group Dads Against Predators, was filmed in a Target parking lot on East Sandford Boulevard in Mount Vernon.

The footage, taken on July 8 at around 8:30 PM, shows vigilantes approaching Kemp-Neal, asking if he is “Marcus.” Kemp-Neal, a Fordham Law graduate, immediately fled the scene upon being confronted.

Kemp-Neal resigned from the Bronx District Attorney’s office four days after the video was posted. He had been employed there since June 28, 2020, earning $84,990 annually and primarily handling cases of assault, harassment, and child endangerment.

The police have not made any arrests, and Kemp-Neal has not been charged with any crime. Authorities have stated that they encountered several individuals making allegations and have pledged a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
