Broadway Circle fight ends with Cumberland woman in cuffs

CUMBERLAND, Md. – A Sunday afternoon argument at Broadway Circle ended with a 26-year-old woman under arrest after police said she assaulted another person during the dispute.

Officers arrived around 2:20 p.m. and spoke with the victim, who reported being attacked by Amber Marie Davis during an altercation. Police observed injuries consistent with the victim’s account and took Davis into custody.

Charges and court appearance

Davis was transported to Central Booking, where she was charged with second-degree assault. After appearing before an Allegany County District Court commissioner, she was released on her own recognizance pending trial.
