Fatal Crash Near County Line Claims Life of West Virginia Woman

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – Authorities have identified Angela Marie Brill, 56, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, as the victim of a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday near the Howard and Montgomery county lines.

The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) reported that the crash happened around 5:11 p.m. near Georgia Avenue between Triadelphia Lake Road. First responders found a blue 2023 Chevrolet Malibu and a black 2012 Toyota Tacoma Pickup truck involved in the collision.

Brill, who was driving the Chevrolet, was airlifted to the hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the Toyota was also hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the Toyota was traveling southbound on Georgia Avenue when it crossed the centerline for unknown reasons and collided with the northbound Chevrolet.
