Phone Snatching Incident at Utica Avenue Subway Station

BROOKLYN, NY—A phone snatching incident occurred at the Utica Avenue subway station on Monday, July 1. At about 6:30 PM, a 25-year-old female was targeted while standing on the southbound platform. An unidentified individual approached her, forcibly took her phone, and then fled the station on foot in an unspecified direction.

No injuries were reported following the incident. The authorities are investigating and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in this theft.
