50-Year-Old Woman Robbed While Exiting NYC Subway Station

NEW YORK, NY — The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a grand larceny incident within the 110th Precinct.

According to police reports, on Sunday, at approximately 7:00 p.m., a 50-year-old woman was on the escalator at the 74th Street Subway Station when an unidentified female approached her. The suspect removed the victim’s cellphone, wallet, a credit card, and $300 in cash from her backpack before fleeing the scene.

The suspect was last seen boarding a northbound “E” train. The victim was not injured during the incident.

The NYPD has released media depicting the suspect and urges anyone with information to come forward.
