Philadelphia Police Seek Information on Shooting Incident Involving Teen

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A shooting occurred early this morning at the intersection of North 2nd Street and Westmoreland Street, leaving a 17-year-old male injured. The incident took place at approximately 6:20 a.m.

The victim was shot once in the left hip and once in the right femur. He was transported to Temple Hospital by Medic 8, where he is currently listed in stable condition. Authorities reported that no scene was held, and no weapons or suspects are in custody at this time.
