HARRISON TWP., Pa. — A young girl was fatally struck by a vehicle while riding her bicycle on Kuntz Street in Harrison Township on the evening of August 20th. The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit and Collision Reconstruction Unit are investigating the incident.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at approximately 7:20 p.m. after County 9-1-1 received reports of the collision. Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to preliminary information, the child was riding her bicycle when she was hit by the vehicle. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
