WASHINGTON, D.C. — Thieves shattered the windows of a van and stole medical supplies intended for children in a brazen daylight robbery on Capitol Hill yesterday afternoon. The incident occurred in front of the Bond Vet clinic at 600 Pennsylvania Ave SE, a normally bustling area in the heart of the city.

The van, parked directly in front of the veterinary clinic, was targeted in broad daylight, raising concerns about the increasing boldness of criminal activity in the area.
