Frederick police arrest man after weapons incident on West Patrick Street

FREDERICK, Md. — Frederick Police officers arrested a man on the evening of September 1 after responding to a weapons complaint on West Patrick Street.

The suspect, identified as Joshua Wayne Rippeon, allegedly brandished an AR-15 style rifle during an altercation. Rippeon is now facing several serious charges, according to the Frederick Police Department.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them at 301-600-2102, or submit anonymous tips at 301-600-TIPS.
