NEW YORK — A 32-year-old man was fatally shot early Monday morning in the Inwood section of Upper Manhattan, according to police.
The victim, identified as Wilmer Rosario, was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the face and chest at approximately 5:49 a.m. Officers responded to a 911 call of a shooting at 3845 10th Avenue, in the confines of the 34th Precinct.
Rosario, who resided at 653 Britton Street in the Bronx, was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident, and the investigation remains ongoing, police said. Authorities have not provided additional details on possible suspects or motives in the case.
