CHESAPEAKE, VA– The Chesapeake Police Department is investigating a homicide on the 700 block of Sea Palling Lane.
Police officers responded at approximately 7:57 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male who had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are currently gathering information and trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities have stated that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
