Three Arrested in Poughkeepsie Drug Bust

Poughkeepsie, NY – An investigation by the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force has led to the arrest of three individuals for drug-related crimes. Community reports of narcotic sales in the vicinity of Main and South Clinton Streets prompted the investigation.

Task Force agents made purchases of cocaine and fentanyl from identified dealers Ronald L. Davis, Bernard Diggs, and Leonardo De La Cruz. Following the investigation, a search warrant was obtained and executed for a property at 407 Main Street, a vehicle, and the three suspects.

On Thursday, Drug Task Force agents, supported by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Unit, City of Poughkeepsie Police, and New York State Police, conducted early morning raids. Large amounts of crack cocaine and fentanyl were seized, leading to several charges.

Ronald L. Davis was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree with intent to sell, one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree. He was arraigned and remanded without bail.
