Teen Among Two Injured in Seperate Baltimore Shootings

BALTIMORE — Two separate shootings occurred Thursday afternoon in Baltimore, leaving two individuals, including a teenager, injured and prompting investigations by local authorities.

The first incident took place at approximately 12:22 p.m. in the 3900 block of 10th Street in the Southern District. Officers arriving at the scene found a 15-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his left leg. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition. Southern District Shooting detectives are leading the investigation.

Shortly thereafter, at around 12:30 p.m., a second shooting was reported in the 3500 block of Esther Place in the Southeast District. Police discovered a 57-year-old male who had sustained gunshot wounds to his lower extremities. He was also taken to a local hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. Detectives from the Southeast District are handling the investigation.
