DOVER, Del. — Delaware State Police detectives are investigating an early morning shooting in Dover that left a home damaged but caused no injuries.
At approximately 12:15 a.m. on Monday, troopers responded to John Clark Road following a report of gunfire. Upon arrival, they learned that an argument had taken place in the street involving two unknown Black males and two other unidentified males. An unknown number of shots were fired during the altercation.
Police said a house on the 1500 block of John Clark Road was struck by gunfire. The residence was unoccupied at the time, and no injuries were reported. The suspects fled the scene on foot before troopers arrived. Detectives recovered several shell casings from the area as part of their investigation.
