HUBER HEIGHTS, OH — A $138 million Powerball jackpot, won in Huber Heights on July 3, 2024, has gone unclaimed, leaving the prize forfeited after the December 30 deadline passed without a winner coming forward.
The auto-pick ticket, which matched all five numbers plus the red Powerball—2, 26, 33, 55, 57, and 22—was purchased at the Walmart Supercenter #1495 on Brandt Pike in Huber Heights. The winner had 180 days to claim the prize but failed to do so.
The unclaimed jackpot will now be directed to Ohio’s unclaimed prize fund, contributing to the Ohio Lottery’s profits used to support educational programs across the state. Ohio will retain approximately $1.9 million from the unclaimed prize.
If the winner had come forward, they would have had the option of taking the annuity prize of $138 million payable over 30 years or a lump sum cash option of $65.8 million.
One of the largest unclaimed Powerball prizes in recent history, the $138 million jackpot will remain a mystery as Ohio Lottery funds help support schools statewide.
