YOUNGSTOWN, OH — A lucky Ohio Lottery player claimed a $50,000 prize after purchasing a winning Billion scratch-off ticket in Youngstown.

The ticket was purchased at Conroy’s North, located at 3990 Belmont Avenue. The winner will take home approximately $36,000 after mandatory federal and state tax withholdings totaling 28 percent.

Billion is a $50 scratch-off game that offers a top prize of $1 million a year for 20 years. As of January 7, three of the game’s top prizes remain unclaimed, along with numerous other prizes.

The Ohio Lottery continues to support education across the state, contributing more than $33 billion to schools since its inception in 1974.
