Man shot multiple times in North Philadelphia, suspect fled

PHILADELPHIA — A 27-year-old man was shot multiple times Tuesday afternoon in North Philadelphia’s 22nd District, police said.

The shooting occurred at approximately 3:09 p.m. on the highway near 3000 W Cumberland Street. The victim was transported by a private vehicle to Temple University Hospital, where he was placed in stable condition.

Authorities have not made any arrests, and no weapons have been recovered. The scene remains under investigation.
