A Psychiatric Patient Has Escaped from a New York Hospital, Police Warn

MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. — New York State Police are searching for Christopher M. Morgan, a psychiatric patient who escaped from Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown on Thursday at approximately 2:39 p.m.

Morgan was last seen wearing a long-sleeve white button-down shirt, black pants, and black shoes. Authorities have not provided details on his condition or why he was hospitalized.

Police have urged the public not to approach Morgan if spotted. Anyone with information is asked to contact State Police Middletown at (845) 344-5300.

Officials continue their search for Morgan as they urge vigilance in the surrounding area.
