DOVER, DE — The Delaware State Police are investigating a home invasion that took place late Saturday night, when a group of five armed suspects forced their way into a Dover residence occupied by two adults and six children.
Troopers responded to the 200 block of Greenview Drive around 10:12 p.m. on April 19 after receiving a report of a home invasion. A preliminary investigation determined that approximately five masked black male suspects forcibly entered the home and proceeded to ransack the interior before fleeing the scene.
Authorities confirmed that no one inside the home was injured during the invasion. At this time, no property has been reported stolen.
The suspects, all described as armed and wearing masks, have not been identified. Surveillance footage of the incident has not yet been obtained or released by investigators.
Investigation ongoing; public assistance requested
The case is being investigated by the Delaware State Police Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit. Law enforcement is urging anyone with information about the suspects or the incident to contact Detective J. Sydnor at 302-698-8540.
