BROOKLYN PARK, MD — Three individuals were arrested Thursday evening after police discovered a stolen handgun and suspected narcotics during a vehicle search in the Northern District, according to authorities.

At approximately 8:00 p.m. on May 8, officers observed a suspicious, occupied 2017 Jeep SUV parked near Patrick Henry Drive and Dell Street in Brooklyn Park. While approaching the vehicle, an officer noticed an extended handgun magazine protruding from a bag inside.

A search of the vehicle led to the recovery of a stolen 9mm Glock 17 handgun beneath the front passenger seat. Police also seized both a standard and an extended magazine loaded with a total of 30 rounds of 9mm ammunition. Additionally, several packages of suspected Suboxone were recovered from the vehicle.

The three occupants were identified and taken into custody without incident. They were:

  • Tremar Antonio Copes, 20, of Glen Burnie
  • Jairee Sean Gonzalez, 20, of Baltimore
  • Maddison Elizabeth Reider, 23, of Pasadena
