by Local News Report

MIDDLETOWN, PA — Two lucky Pennsylvania Lottery players will each claim over $1.1 million after matching all five numbers in the June 9 Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing, splitting a $2,325,690 jackpot.

The winning tickets were sold in Butler and Erie counties. One was purchased at the 7-Eleven located at 4501 Glen Eden Road in Cranberry Township, and the other at the Giant Eagle at 2501 West 12th Street in Millcreek Township. Each retailer earns a $10,000 bonus for selling a jackpot-winning ticket.

The winning numbers drawn were 4, 7, 17, 27, and 36.

Thousands of additional prizes awarded statewide

More than 44,700 other tickets won prizes in the same drawing. Each $2 play included a main Cash 5 drawing and an instant Quick Cash game, offering chances for immediate $2 or $6 prizes. Jackpot-winning tickets must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.

Winners are not publicly known until the tickets are validated and claimed through the Pennsylvania Lottery.
