Police seek driver in Diamond Springs Road hit-and-run that injured pedestrian

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA — Virginia Beach Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a dark-colored SUV that struck a pedestrian and fled the scene late Monday night.

According to police, the hit-and-run occurred around 10:09 p.m. in the 2100 block of Diamond Springs Road. The vehicle did not stop to assist the victim and was last seen heading toward Lenox Drive.

The department’s Traffic Safety Unit is actively investigating the incident. Authorities have not released the condition of the pedestrian.
