Albany, NY — Two winning tickets worth more than $16,000 each hit the jackpot in Sunday night’s TAKE 5 drawing, the New York Lottery announced Monday.
One ticket, worth $16,356.50, was sold at FMS Discount Stop, located at 825 Route 110 in Melville, officials confirmed. The other top-prize ticket, valued at the same amount, was purchased from Paras Newsstand at 302 West 34th Street in Manhattan.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with players selecting from numbers one through 39.
Lottery officials reminded winners they have up to one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes.
The New York Lottery contributed $3.8 billion to public education statewide in fiscal year 2023–2024, continuing as North America’s largest and most profitable lottery program.
