Two men arrested in May robbery outside Harrington Raceway and Casino

HARRINGTON, Del. — Delaware State Police have arrested two suspects in connection with a May robbery that occurred in the parking lot of Harrington Raceway and Casino.

The incident took place on May 11 at approximately 2:45 a.m., when two men approached a male victim as he was entering his vehicle at 42 Chambers Circle, police said. The suspects assaulted the victim, stole his property, and fled in a black pickup truck. The victim sustained minor injuries.

Following an investigation, troopers identified the suspects as 34-year-old Taron Brawner of Easton, Maryland, and 38-year-old Kyle Parker of Townsend, Delaware. Arrest warrants were subsequently issued.

On June 13, Parker was taken into custody and transported to Troop 3. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on his own recognizance.

Brawner was also later arrested in connection to the case. Details of his apprehension have not yet been released.

The investigation was led by the Delaware State Police Criminal Investigations Unit.
