Big win for Youngstown player with Cincinnati lottery ticket

CINCINNATI, Ohio — A Pick 5 player from Youngstown scored a $25,000 top prize in the June 26 drawing with a winning ticket purchased at a Cincinnati mini mart, Ohio Lottery officials announced.

The winning ticket was sold at Sunny Mini Mart, located at 5700 Madison Road. After mandatory 28 percent state and federal tax withholdings, the winner will receive $18,000.

The identity of the winner has not been released.

Pick 5 is a daily Ohio Lottery draw game with drawings held twice each day.

Since its inception in 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to support public education in the state.
