Bronx Teen Killed in Broad Daylight Triple Victim Gunfire Attack

BRONX, N.Y. — An 18-year-old male was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon in a triple-victim assault near Southern Boulevard and Westchester Avenue, police said.

Officers from the 41st Precinct responded to a 911 call around 3:50 p.m. and found two victims at the scene — one with a gunshot wound to the chest and another with a facial injury. The shooting victim, identified as Shannon Kelsey of the Bronx, was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead.

A 15-year-old male with a laceration to the lip was taken by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem and is reported to be in stable condition.

Authorities also confirmed that a third victim, a 38-year-old man, arrived at Lincoln Hospital by private transport with a gunshot wound to the left leg. He is also in stable condition.

There have been no arrests in connection with the incident. Police said the investigation is ongoing.

“Shannon Kelsey, 18, of the Bronx, succumbed to a gunshot wound to the chest,” authorities confirmed Tuesday.
