WASHINGTON, DC — A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that occurred late Friday night in Northwest Washington, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
On July 4 at approximately 11:20 p.m., officers from the Second District responded to reports of a disorderly individual armed with a knife in the 900 block of G Street, Northwest. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male victim suffering from stab wounds and the effects of pepper spray. The victim was conscious and breathing at the scene and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Shortly after the incident, police located the suspect, identified as Aaren Striplin, who has no fixed address. Officers recovered both the knife and pepper spray believed to have been used in the assault.
Striplin was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. The investigation remains ongoing under case number 25100748.
