CLAYMONT, Del. — Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Tuesday afternoon at a McDonald’s on Philadelphia Pike during a planned sale arranged online.

According to investigators, two unidentified males met the victim inside the fast-food restaurant at 2702 Philadelphia Pike around 4:30 p.m. The meeting was intended for the purchase of an item the victim had listed for sale.

The suspects then fled the scene on foot with the victim’s property, heading toward Philadelphia Pike, police said.
