Crofton 7-Eleven hit by masked thieves in dawn heist

CROFTON, MD — A pair of masked suspects robbed a 7-Eleven convenience store early Monday morning in Crofton, making off with cash and merchandise before fleeing in a white SUV.

Officers from the Western District responded around 5:20 a.m. to the 7-Eleven at 2046 Davidsonville Road after receiving reports of a commercial robbery. According to the store employee, two suspects entered the business — one demanded money while the other reached behind the counter and grabbed items.

Though no weapon was displayed, the employee stated he believed one of the men had a handgun tucked into his waistband. Both suspects left the scene in a white Ford SUV.

A police search of the area did not locate the suspects or the getaway vehicle.

The suspects are described as:

  • Black male wearing all black clothing with a white t-shirt covering his face
  • Black male wearing a black t-shirt, khaki shorts, and a white t-shirt covering his face
