MENTOR, OH — A local man struck it big with a $150,000 prize playing the Ohio Lottery’s Monopoly Bonus Spectacular 50X scratch-off game.
The winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven #36234, located at 6709 Center Street in Mentor. After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, the winner will take home $108,000.
Monopoly Bonus Spectacular 50X is a $10 scratch-off game with a top prize of $500,000. As of Tuesday, one top prize remains unclaimed.
Since its inception in 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education across the state.
