TRENTON, N.J. — The National Weather Service has issued a weather advisory for New Jersey this weekend, with patchy fog and a slight chance of storms expected overnight into Sunday.
Tonight, residents may see isolated showers and thunderstorms after midnight, with a 20% chance of precipitation. Fog is expected to develop after 5 a.m. under mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will drop to a low near 72 degrees with light southeast winds becoming calm overnight.
Sunday will begin with areas of fog before 8 a.m., followed by clearing skies and sunshine by afternoon. Temperatures will rise to near 91 degrees with a calm wind turning west at around 5 mph.
Sunday night, scattered showers and thunderstorms may develop before 11 p.m., with a slight chance of additional rain between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. Skies will be partly cloudy with a low near 69 degrees and a northwest wind around 5 mph. Rainfall is expected to be minimal, though isolated storms could bring higher amounts.
