ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA — A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with a May 24 shooting outside the Brookdale Apartment Community on Country Green Road, Albemarle County Police announced Friday.
The juvenile is charged with attempted malicious wounding, shooting from a vehicle, and gang participation. They are currently being held at the Blue Ridge Juvenile Detention Center.
Police said multiple vehicles and buildings were struck by gunfire during the incident, though no injuries were reported.
