NEW YORK, NY — A TAKE 5 lottery player struck it big after purchasing a top-prize winning ticket worth $32,646.50 for Friday night’s drawing in Manhattan.
The winning ticket for the July 19 TAKE 5 evening drawing was sold at Mini Mart, located at 2154 8th Ave, according to the New York Lottery.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of 1 through 39 twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Prizes must be claimed within one year from the drawing date.
The New York Lottery contributed $3.6 billion to public education across the state in the most recent fiscal year.
